This class will be a blend of theory, practical knowledge, 'Third Wave' coffee culture and standards, plus hands-on time. Our goal is to utilize our knowledge and industry experience to help give you the foundational information you need to feel more confident working with and preparing delicious coffee at home.
Specifically we’ll dig into:
-Industry insights on how to perceive flavor, achieve optimal extraction, how-to's for dialing-in, and how to work with and control variables.
-A glimpse into the world of specialty coffee, drink-building standards, milk steaming, and an intro into latte art
- How to care for and maintain your equipment. Plus suggestions for what to look for in new gear and accessories, including some of FLC's favs!
